These Terms of Service govern your access to Jaspector, including the free knowledge base and any paid membership tier offered by DALANA LLC.
By accessing the site, joining a membership, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Structure
Jaspector provides homeowner-focused construction information and membership-based advisory support. The service currently includes:
- Free access to permit pages, contractor requirement guides, templates, wiki content, and courses
- Paid membership tiers that add advisor access and project support
- Email-based support workflows for members
- Optional contractor referral or matching workflows when available
3. Membership Tiers and Pricing
Jaspector currently offers the following structure:
- Free: $0 for knowledge base access
- Coach: $9/month
- Pro: $49/month
- Project: $149/month
Tier features may evolve over time. We may change pricing or features with advance notice before changes affect future billing.
4. Billing and Renewal
- Paid memberships renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled
- Payments are processed through Stripe
- You authorize Jaspector to charge your payment method for the tier you selected
- All fees are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated
You may cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation ends future billing and access continues through the current paid period unless we state otherwise.
5. Scope of Service
Jaspector provides educational information and project guidance. We are not providing licensed contracting, engineering, architectural, legal, or inspection services through this website.
You remain responsible for verifying requirements with your local jurisdiction and consulting the appropriate licensed professional when your situation requires one.

- No outcome is guaranteed
- No professional-client relationship with a licensed trade or legal professional is created by using this service
6. Member Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, review advice in context, and use independent judgment before acting on project decisions.
- Verify permit, code, and licensing requirements independently
- Review contractor credentials and insurance directly
- Use licensed professionals where required
- Do not rely on Jaspector as a substitute for site-specific professional services
7. Contractor Referrals and Third Parties
If Jaspector introduces you to a contractor, supplier, or merchant, that introduction is for convenience only. We do not guarantee their performance, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, or business practices.
Any agreement you enter with a third party is solely between you and that third party.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Paid membership fees are otherwise non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in that policy.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use Jaspector to:
- Break the law or violate third-party rights
- Abuse, harass, or threaten our team
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Misrepresent your identity or payment information
10. Intellectual Property
All site content, branding, templates, course materials, and software are owned by DALANA LLC or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may use the materials for your own personal project research, but you may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or create derivative commercial products from them without permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
JASPECTOR IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jaspector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to paid membership will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact support@jaspector.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
These Terms are governed by California law. Unless prohibited by law, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration or in small claims court, as applicable.
15. Changes and Termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in fraud.
